I registered for classes today. That was a little adventure. It wasn't hard, but I was new to the campus, and trying desperately to remember where everything was. Luckily, I had already checked out what elective I wanted and had emailed my advisor (who is never in the office) and got permission for the classes. I got one surprise from student accounts when I found I owed $2075 to the University. I'm not sure where that came from, since I thought I had received something telling me my balance was $0. They didn't take credit, so I thanked my lucky stars that I had my checkbook for my account with all my living money in it.
Afterwards, I drove around and got gas for $2.81, the cheapest I've ever seen in the city. Then I got lost trying to find the nearest CVS, but was successful in the end. I bought an aloe plant and a beautiful bouquet for the table. I feel accomplished.
