The ULITMATE Update!
Guess where I am? Baltimore!!!! And in my brand new apartment. It's so cute! There's new paint and carpet (the same color as the orginal carpet was at home, a light brown) and new kitchen cabnets and counters. All of my furniture is stuff I've grown up with. The old blue cordoroy couch from the family room as well as the rocking chair, coffee table, side table and lamp (woodspeople would find this very familiar) and the bed I slept in my whole childhood while at my grandmother's. I'm stealing someone's wireless, but will be getting my own soon (should I if this works fine?). I also have antenna television (unexpected). It's really nice here and I'm pretty happy to finally be here. I met Mike, one of my new classmates today and he seems nice enough. He's going to show me around the bars when my parents go.
I'll be able to drive home and to Oberlin frequently in my new car (gasp!) and plan to be in Ohio the weekend of Sept. 16 and in CH some weekend in October as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I hope everyone else is having as good a start to the year as I am. I promise to now update more often now that stuff is actually happening.
