Really fun and relaxing time. Sorry to those who have work this weekend.
Merry Wives of Windsor was funcking halarious. It wasn't just the casting, which was perfect, or the stage direction, which was extremely professional. Sometimes everything just clicks in a production.
Saturday was wonderful for me, if not for my best friend who's brakes went out (btw: I'm taking you out to dinner one night this week!). Rolled out of bed for a breakfast of a double steakburger and a junior mocha milkshake at Steak 'n Shake then a matine of V for Vendetta. I wasn't really expecting much. Thought it would be like Dare Devil (I read a bad review). But the movie knocked my socks off. I really really needed to get out.
Then I made buckeyes and went to the Obertones performance. I got to man the smoke machine. Oh God, how embarrassing. The thing was really loud, and didn't really keep the smoke around. I was so red, even though hardly anyone could tell who was manning it. I'm terrible at doing things in front of an audience, no matter what it is. It just isn't my forte like it is for Rick (who was awesome). Then the party at 222 N. Main. I made sure I got my money's worth of cocktails and beer. Five drinks and I was pretty drunk. I couldn't walk straight, but Rick helped me home. At least I didn't get sick.
Sunday I woke up with a nasty headache (big surprise!) and didn't get out of bed until 3pm. Will do my reading, shower, and D&D! Stop by if you want a buckeye!
