compfy and warm, but a little confused
My father, our host, and another guest are still at the dinner table, trying to solve earth's scientific questions on their own with only utensils and napkins to guide them. I watched the stars and the moon on the sea with a nice guy who also does science, but does not have a large enough ego to go and prove it at a dinner table.
I'm more confused then ever about my life after Oberlin. Most of the adults here have Ph.D.s, and every scientist with a Ph.D. will tell a young scientist to get theirs. ack. He basically cornered me into confessing I find nothing more satisfying than research. Damn him! We'll see how next semester goes and maybe then I'll decide...
