Happy happy, Joy joy
I am free! My good friend, Shane, showed me how to fix my bike yesterday and even helped me make the brakes better! I replaced the tube and rim tape of the rear wheel, made the rear brake easier to use and the front harder (so I don't get thrown off by braking fast using the front brake) and straightened the handlebars. My world just got 20 times larger.
I was also lucky enough to be invited to go see Batman Begins with Jon, a guy in my lab, and some friends around town. I have to say, I love Alfred! I wish they could redo all the other batman movies and do them like this one. Everyone must see it. It's just awesome.
Oh, and one other thing. I just couldn't help but post this, I'm sorry if it's just not the highest road out there. Apparently a certain ex has gotten canned and is in a terrible amount of trouble for dating a student as a staff member. He's out of there mid-august. I'm glad he'll be leaving, I knew it would happen (seeing his behavior) but I wish we could have just talked one last time to sort of wrap things up. And he still has my grandmother's records, but everyone knows that.
I'll try to post a bit more, but it's hard when stuff just doesn't change around you that often.
