Summer stuff
I love how more of my friends have joined lj. It makes me happy and sparkly inside.
I don't think I let everyone know that I now know for certain that I'll be working here this summer. I'm going really serious in the research I did last summer on the interstellar medium with Dan Stinebring (the pulsar lab). I thought he still had to wait for grant money to come in to know for certain, but apparently he's been expecting me to work for him. I found this out Friday, and it relieved me greatly. Hopefully Stacey and Shannon get everything figured out and will live with me and make my world a happy place. :)
In other news, Ian came by the Dungeons and Dragons game last night for the first time since we broke up. He brought his girlfriend (a freshmen: 10 years apart) who seems really sweet. I think I'd like her. I just wish he ran this past Eric. This is supposed to be a band thing. Tension between he and I won't prove very fun either. But I've been reading that web comic Order of the Stick, and it makes me excited to play my awesome Ranger 2/Rogue 4 human archer character. Perhaps I'll convince Eric to let me side more on the chaotic nature of my character and be like the rogue archer girl in the strip. I'm going to get the silly storage space this Wednesday. Here's hoping they don't screw me on price again.
