Wake me up from this nightmare...
Alright..so I decided to let everything process before I attempted to make this entry. Brings tears back to my eyes just starting to write it =( Even though we all knew it was coming eventually, and we all tried to prepare ourselves, nothing could have prepared us for this. I see that now... *sigh*
RBD quickly became my FAVORITE band ever. Not understanding Spanish didn't make me like them any less, in fact, I think it made me love them even more ! I have always had a thing for Spanish music, so one day, when talking to Lisa, she asked if I liked Spanish music. Selena was really all I listened too, and some old Shakira, so she showed me Any singing "Salvame" from Madrid. WOW. I was completely blown away !! I thought she was lipsyncing...I was CONVINCED.. I was just so used to all this untalented garbage that most music is nowadays.. well she showed me more and more stuff and I was from that point on forever a fan. Their music is just soooo amazing, inspirational, catchy, the beats are fun , the guitars give it a little edge...just everything about it , I love. So many people I know make fun of me for liking them, or make fun of them, but I really couldn't care less. They are the ones missing out, if people can't be open minded to new music then that is their issue...I'm just glad I can appreciate the AMAZINGNESS that is RBD.
When I heard the news...WOW..I had to re-read the sentence over and over again. I couldn't believe it, and I still can't .. Then things like, what do I do now?!?! started running through my head. Since I have known about them, they have seriously taken over my life. They have taken over my iPod, my computer, my brain ! And even though the group is ending, nobody can take away the music they have made that has touched all of our souls, and for that we can be grateful for. And theres a new cd coming , and the tour is starting back up again, so I hope we get lots of really awesome memories to remember them by. They are truly unforgettable.
I can only thank Lisa, and RBD, for all these amazing people that I have met *Shoutout to my FF girls =)* You all have made my life that much better !
