I'm watching Love Actually right now with my mother in law, while my father in law is down in the basement building chairs (yes it is 9:30 at night). So far this week, I've watched the following movies with my MIL: The Boxtrolls, Wreck It Ralph, Nacho Libre, and The Secret Garden. My FIL has been building chairs that whole time. Apparently he likes to take on projects during his vacations. We've had some great meals during their visit though and tomorrow we are going down to the coast to get some lobster or something.
Maple baby has just figured out this week that toys exist and that some of them make noise - he really likes the ones that make noise.
My cat is outside somewhere and he hasn't come in yet (usually we like the cats in before sunset) and I am worried.
He could be Ron Swanson…except his personality is pretty much the exact opposite - he loves to talk
Maple baby will definitely be a very noisy boy - he's also started cooing and he'll respond to you when you talk to him (Patrick calls this 'having a coo-versation'). And he dances to the song his mobile plays (really he just bangs his feet against the crib)
Oh there will definitely be videos of a dancing boy! I've already taken far too many
Thanks, I hope so too! I'm especially worried because I was just talking with a neighbor recently (not the neighbor with the sheep, a different one) and she was saying how a bobcat had gotten some of her chickens lately, and we lost a cat to a bobcat several years ago so I'm worried that there is another one in the area now.
He could very well become a drummer! Or definitely something musical, we have a shit ton of instruments in our house (two organs, a violin, a saxophone, a guitar, and I'm sure we'll just keep accumulating them)
going to go out now and whistle for maple kitty - usually he comes back home when he hears a certain whistle.

Uh oh, Maple Baby sounds like he'll be quite the noisy one here pretty quick.

It always freaked me out when I lived with my parents and our cats would stay out past dark. I hope Maple Kitty comes in soon!
