Not a lot going on except that last Friday I went with a pal from work to see Joel McHale at an Indiana casino. I cannot recall a fic where the Parks crew goes to the Wamapoke casino (why not?), but for reference, I have to say that a casino in Indiana will be filled with cigarette smoke and ashtrays. So many ashtrays. The venue was smoke-free and huge. The show was more Talk Soup than Community. A lot of jokes about the Kardashians and stuff from when Joel started out on Talk Soup/The Soup.
I finished two books this week! I finally got around to watching X-Men: Days of Future Past, and I don't see me getting over Michael Fassbender anytime soon. Also, I really like Mystique's '70s look.
Also, I talked to my younger brother - the one who is getting married in June - and can he just assume I'm going to help with wedding prep? He has horrible communication skills to begin with, but he starts off the phone call with "So you're going to have to help us on Friday [before the wedding on Saturday]." I know I am a horrible sister, but he just assumes that if he requests something for his wedding it will be. He assumed our cousin would be in his wedding (flying from Illinois to Maine) if he said so, and he knows our cousin has to take care of son who has Autism and has to stick to a schedule for school. UGH.
Geoff made me watch Days of Future Past recently, and while I do not generally have feelings about the X Men, I super loved that scene with Quicksilver in the Pentagon.

I would also probably be irritated if it was just assumed that I was helping out with something as big as wedding planning.
