Hello you starry-eyed sunfish! I'm about to board a plane to go to D.C. for the weekend, where I will watch Outlander with whatever DCPG contingent is around, go to as little of Boyfriend's high school reunion as I can manage, and meet with people who have resumes cooler than mine in attempt to find some way of working for a certain Democratic presidential candidate.

Hope everyone's got lovely spring weather to enjoy where they are (it's finally hit Boston, yay) and has a marvelous evening <3

Yeah, I have no interest in my own, let alone one where I won't even know anybody. I think I just have to go to the bar thing tomorrow night; my plans with Fundz and partyscientist are during the other main event!

Have a great time in DC! Will you be able to see any of the cherry blossoms while you're down there? I am so freaking glad about this warm weather.

ALLISON I'M WATCHING SERENITY RIGHT NOW

WHY WHY WHY WHY IT'S SO TERRIBLE

You're watching it because it's an excellent film...with only a couple of deaths that rip your heart out along the way...

Also, way to indoctrinate your child into nerds on early! I approve.

When I wrote that comment before, something terrible and tragic had just occurred….IT HAPPENED SO QUICKLY. SHE JUST HAD TO LEAVE HIM THERE, SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TIME TO PROCESS IT. And they kept his dinosaurs where they were when they rebuilt the ship. MY GOD WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN

Yeah, this poor kid is going to be like Ben Wyatt-level of nerd by the time he hits elementary school. It's actually overwhelming when I think of all the things he hasn't been exposed to yet that we have to get him into!

HAVE FUUUUN IN DC! I wish I could Outlander with y'all.

Your resume is plenty cool and you are cooler than them anyways. But I hope you have an endurable time. ;)

That is a truly excellent ambition (working for a certain presidential candidate, not just watching Outlander with DCPG, which also sounds great). Good luck! Have fun!
