WE HAVE MAPLE BABY! So, regardless of any and everything else's that's happening, this week is pretty close to A+.

In other news, work has finally gotten busy with actually interesting things. But more importantly, it's been Buckynat Week on Tumblr and therefore I've blissfully lost my mind more than usual regarding my beloved brainwashed ex-Soviet assassins. AND I WROTE SMUT! I've never done that before, but I've found writing this pairing really empowering in that way. Someone send me a prompt or two so I can finish out the week of drabbles in style :)

Also: Boston is apparently going to get MORE snow, so I guess I have less control over the weather than I'd previously thought. Alas.

Yasss, get your smut on! (I don't think I've ever typed that sentence out)

MORE SNOW?! Have Bostonians not suffered enough?

The Mini-Bang is anonymous for some reason, but I'll link to the thing on Tumblr next week once the author reveal happens. The increasingly-naked bits are just in the last third, but I think you can read them (and most of the rest of it) without a ton of foreknowledge about the fandom...anyway, it was a good challenge for me, and I'm really pleased with how it came out. My beta said it melted her computer.

I DON'T KNOW. I did get to use the car today for the first time in almost two months, so that was something...I just want to wear anything but my puffy down jacket and three layers of everything at this point. Also, Boyfriend's parents are coming into town this weekend, and it'd be nice if storms didn't mess with those plans.

I would love to read it! Even with not knowing anything about the fandom. ;)

Hopefully the weather won't be too bad for boyfriend's parents' travels this weekend. Fight the power and not wear your puffer coat. It was about 50 degrees when my parents came to visit last weekend and I refused to wear anything heavy.

Oh, if it were 50 I'd be wearing an open trench and a springy scarf and no gloves and maybe the dapper cloche that Boyfriend got me for Chanukah. But it was 12 when I woke up this morning, so. Puffy coat and thrummed mittens. *sigh* I just want to go for a run.

Your weather sounds much nicer, though.

Well it was nicer...not as bad as yours now, but it's windy and grey and mid-30's. Typical Michigan in March.

I want to see said dapper cloche!

I tried to selfie it the other day, but despite my extensive Amber exposure, my selfie game is whatever the opposite of on-point is. But it is this piece: goorin ( . ) com/hat-styles/womens-hats/audrey-claire-felt-cloche-hat

That is dapper and adorable! I love the color too.

I wish I could wear hats, but nothing fits on my huge head.

It is one of the only advantages to having weirdly small head, it's true.

Looking forward to reading!

Good Lord, snow, the first day of spring is tomorrow. Learn to read a calendar.

There's a reason I titled my Boston mix on 8tracks "I hear it's nice in the summer." This place does not understand how winter ought to end past a certain point!
