Even though I don't like March for personal reasons, this week has been the first page of a new chapter in my adult life. I did something that will hopefully come true. I applied for a new gorgeous apartment and got approved and got a freaking tattoo!!! And for someone with a crazy fear of needles and blood, I didn't scream or anything, it was like going to a dentist (I've had 4 fillings without anesthesia because I'm scared of the needles and the dentist called me a masochist).


We had a snow day here in DC today so I stayed and finally did my laundry, got news on the apartment, showed my mom my tattoo and studied. It's been pretty nice. I'm a little sick - I had a sore throat last friday and it finally settled to my sinuses - so I've been dealing with that. I baked some cookies and will now watch something.

What kind of cookies did you make? I wanted to bake brownies today and then that didn't happen...

Thank you!!!!! I am still not used to the tattoo, whenever I see it, I'm like 'oh, it's still there', but I love it.

Regular chocolate-chip cookies. I had bought some refrigerated cookie dough for when clubgetright and spunkyar was coming over for crafting but never used them so I decided to do them now.

Talking about cookies is almost motivating me enough to bake something. I have dough for s'more cookies sitting in my cupboard.

I was scared shitless tbh at the idea of it but it wasn't really painful. When he was doing the retouching and also when he wiped off the cream it hurt like a bitch, but it was ok. I don't like the idea of being inflicted pain (that's where my phobia comes from) but I do have a high pain threshold.

Well, the idea of having ink drilled into your skin is a little off putting, to say the least. But I'm glad it wasn't too bad! I've found sometimes that the shading/fill in parts feel the worst. I love the color so much! It looks really fantastic.
