What a great start to my day, we just had someone come into our office selling cupcakes!!
I had the day off work so I got to watch the season premier at about lunch time on Wednesday, not looking forward to waiting till the evenings for the rest of the season.
I had a friend over we ate waffles and whipped cream, I also bought some lollies, realized later that I had bought skittles and star burst so we of course had to have Andy’s mouth surprise. I had to re watch the new episodes later that night because I don’t think I took it all in first time around. Definitely better the second time. At work yesterday I actually typed the date as 2017. I would have liked to have heard the rest of Ben’s speech.
Also quite excited for this weekend I have a 50’s themed hen’s party (or bachelorette party) to go to. I’ve got my dress all sorted just need to organise something to do with my hair it’s going to be difficult as 50’s styles don’t really suit my very curly hair. I may have straighten it but that takes forever and also mean my hair will be very long, it’s also going to be difficult as I’ve got a lunch date with a guy I’ve just started seeing and I’m going to be pushed for time.
No one apart from delivery guys come to our office so it was lovely, she was a cut little english lady promoting her business Cake & Cater, great name. I bought a salted caramel one, yum! Said she would come in next week with Australia Day themed ones, I hope she does.
It will be even more awesome now that I just found some 50's themed glasses on sale in Target
I could definitely go for a salted caramel cupcake right about now - that sounds delicious! What do you think would be in an Australia Day themed cupcake though?
I assume they would just be plain with green and yellow icing or the Aussie flag, but now that I think about it maybe a lamington cupcake not sure how that would work. Don't know if you know what a lamington is but basically its normally a small square cake covered in chocolate sauce and coconut, comes with cream in the middle and sometimes strawberry jam as well. Oh my gosh this actually would be a great cup cake, I'm making myself hungry.
