Hello, you lovely ladies! I have not been here in weeks. How is everyone?

I do not have much that is new or exciting to report. I had a few very crazy, stressful weeks of work that pretty much took over my life, but things have settled down now and I'm feeling more even-keeled. I am very, very much looking forward to my Thanksgiving break next week, though. My brother is coming home for the holiday for the first time in like 6 years, so I'm pretty excited.

I also started working on my While You Were Sleeping Parks AU, which I first started planning about a year ago. I am cautiously optimistic that I'll actually finish it and get it posted before Christmas. *fingers crossed*

Hello! I'm sneaking a quick update in from work.

I'm sending out fandom Chrissy presents this year. You can sign up on the google form that I reblogged on my tumblr this morning (I can't do links on my phone). I want to send them out in the first week of December.

My dogs keep killing snakes, luckily only tree snakes so far but I'm worried they'll find a poisonous one one day.

Work is going well, I have a big meeting this arvo.

I have my first Christmas party of the season this weekend. It's a barefoot (lawn) bowls party which are always fun.

It's lovely and summery at the moment. I've been swimming on my lunch breaks and it's just so delightful and refreshing.

My town is about to get overrun with schoolies (school leavers) for the next week so it's going to be chaos. It will also make me feel old because I came here for schoolies 11 years ago.

Has anyone seen the Pitch Perfect 2 trailer? I watched it this morning! It looks good.

Hey everyone!

I am officially back to school as I enrolled for one of my classes today. And I am also officially an adult since I took a loan for that. Thankfully the school allows for me to pay per class and not the whole sum so I won't be as destitute as I thought I'd be, but still. Money stuff sucks.
My mom gave me some great news, announcing that instead of coming here next month, she will come in spring so I'll be able to spend winter cooped up and focusing on school.
Arrow gave me too many feelings. And I wrote my first ever smut, I am so proud of myself. It's not too smutty per se, but it has mentions of sex organs.

Oh, and it's my birthday on Monday.
