If it didn't take me 22 hours to drive to LA, I would SO think about being there today, LOL.

They can't be nearly as scary as some of the people I've dealt with in my short career. Libraries attract weirdos.

Oh, that's true. In high school, there was a guy that drove this white van with dino decals (which, okay, cool, but no b/c this dude was a creep) and he would park at the public library every day and...I don't know. There were rumors he was maybe trying to sell stuff out of the back of his van? I always just felt REALLY bad for the librarians because they probably had to deal with him for that month or two before the cops told him to leave, LOL.

I'm very thankful that I work in higher ed and we have 24/7 security. One time in grad school, I had to call security because this guy was watching porn and he got very belligerent. Scary stuff.

I know people need to get on the computer but I wish they'd keep the shadiness to a minimum.

I worked as a library clerk and would always have to 'accidentally' log patrons off the internet for viewing porn around school children. ugh.

Yep, libraries are pervert/weirdo central. Explains why Tammy 2 likes it so much.

It would take me about 2.5 or 3 hours to this Paleyfest location..but even if I did have tickets, the wind was really crazy today and driving thru the grapevine would have been too scary.
