A job well done.
Whew! My charity event for wildlife conservation went off without a hitch. We raised 600,000 dollars! ... 20,000 more than the last event, which I didn't organize, but I'll take my victories no matter how small they are. Ha!
For those of you in these circles who attended, thank you so much for coming and participating. I will keep in touch about whatever events that may come up! The next one should be sometime next year.
Now I am tasked with the unpleasant business of interviewing applicants to be my new PA. My last one of five years unfortunately put in her two weeks notice a few days ago. Oh, Cherice, what am I ever going to do without you? You will be dearly missed.
But oh well. I have a dinner date with a Mr. Holt, so, ciao, darlings!
