I don't even know why I bother with rom-coms these days. Why must they always be so formulaic and dastardly dull?
Another career woman (always clad in pencil skirt and power blouse...) learning she must loosen up to find true love with the laid back, suave Casanova.
Do you realize the reason there aren't many movies with the reverse is because the male lead would then be fundamentally unlikable? But oh, no, we can't have that. So let's make the woman the unyielding shrew.
Plus, we all know we love to watch movies were the girl needs to get saved, especially from herself!
