Hey, long forgotten friend. It’s been a while.
So, hey, guys. Sorry I haven’t been very social or written in, like - forever. I’ve been kind of busy trying to kick-start a photography/photojournalism career.
It’s pretty cool. After what’s felt like forever freelancing, I’ve managed to get myself a more stable position at the Daily Prophet. It isn’t exactly what I want to be doing, but I’m pretty happy about it. It’s a job that will open more doors for me later on.
Aaaaanyway - onto the real reason I’m writing -
It’s that time of the year again where my sister transforms from her sweet and docile self into a raging and ill-tempered monster. I’m talking about the Spring fashion season. It’s not really my thing, but she always insists on dragging me to a couple of shows every year. I think she kind of hopes I’ll pick up on it more and become a fashion photographer, or something. I mean - I like looking at the clothes but I don’t really hold it all in such high esteem.
SOOO - I’m going to the one in New York in February. My mother was supposed to go this year, too, but due to, ah, let‘s say certain circumstances, won’t be able to attend. My sister suggested I bring a friend along in her place. I asked TK and she was unfortunately predisposed, so, anyone interested in tagging along, give a hollar.
