The LJ Paid For By Wolves
Last year, my Crit Partner annemariewrites made a New Year's resolution to get me on LJ. Naturally, I laughed in her virtual face, because there was no way I would ever join the blogging / LJ community. It's just one more thing that would suck up my time and keep me from my WIP and I already spend way too much time in chat rooms. So, being ever so resourceful, AM bribed me with a copy of SHIVER by Maggie Stiefvater. The book hadn't been released yet at the time and she told me that she would try to win me an ARC from contests going around in the blogosphere. I've been entering contests for Maggie's book for a while now prior to that and I know that I NEVER WIN. So sure that I was plagued by The Stiefvater Curse, we struck a deal : she wins a SHIVER and I get an LJ.
SHIVER came out (I read it and loved it) but still we kept entering contests just for the principle of it. And then last month, AM finally won a copy and then I won my own copy from none other than merry_fates. Woot woot. It was clear. The universe has spoken. So this morning I went over to live journal and signed up.
So here I am.
I look forward to meeting all the other wonderful LJ users out there and be part of the community.
Oh and feel free to smack me if I whinge too much.
