Leslie's on the move!
I've been busy the last few weeks finalizing the details of my move from the Garden State to the Lone Star State. Here's the plan so far:
Thursday, July 31st
Moving truck arrives sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. However, I have been assured that the driver will call me with 2 to 1 hour heads up. Once the truck arrives, I'll have 2 hours to load. Luckily, I've recruited the assistance of some of my favorite employees to help with the manual labor. Matt arrives at EWR at 1:15 p.m. With any more luck, he'll arrive BEFORE the truck does so that he too can help load.
Friday, August 1st - Sunday, August 3rd
Matt and I make the trans-continental trek from New Jersey to Texas. Hopefully, we'll stop in D.C. to see Anna and Aaron and in Lafayette, LA, to see Paul and Kathryn (and little Jack).
Monday, August 4th
I spend most of the day in Houston, among other things, getting a hair cut (even though Jenny is closed on Mondays), going to the doctor (gotta have my yearly check-up!), and getting my car inspected (NJ is really far away from TX). Once my errands are completed, I'll head to CC.
Tuesday, August 5th - Wednesday, August 6th
I'll spend some time in Corpus Christi, hanging out by the pool and playing with Charlie, along with spending time with the folks. Jackie arrives in CC on Wednesday evening.
Thursday, August 7th
Parents, Jackie and me drive to Midland.
Friday, August 8th
Moving truck arrives sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. I will be there to receive it. I'll spend the rest of the time gathering items I need to replace from the move.
Saturday, August 9th - Sunday, August 10th
Leslie moves in!
Monday, August 11th
Leslie starts her new job!
