Giddy!
Earlier this week, I emailed my supervisors at my internship about my final days. John Alexander responded saying that I will be missed. He concluded:
You were not in the day that my close friend Kathleen Crain, the senior
exhibitions registrar at the MFA, Houston, came in. However, after you
graduation, if you ever find yourself back in Houston and interested in
working in the registrar's office there, please get in contact with her.
I've already mentioned you to her and she'd be pleased to hear from
you. I'd be happy to write a glowing recommendation as well I've
included her information below.
Looks like I'm making contacts back in Texas! This makes me VERY happy! As of right now, I really want to be back in Texas after I graduate. This experience has been great, but I really miss my home state with friends, family, and (easily accessible) freeways. I'm trying to keep an eye on museum registration job openings throughout Texas. And there's a really nice 10 month internship in San Antonio for which I plan on applying. Keep your fingers crossed!
