Haha, no I agree. Kaylynn being the same age/a bit older than Morty and Bella makes NO SENSE. I like the witch angle, but I also think maybe it has something to do with Mortimer and discovering the Elixir of Life? I don't know, maybe he promised her youth in return for her to forget she ever knew him and Bella, because she made their lives troublesome? LOL. I don't know. I like that it opens up this TRAIN OF CRAZY.
I think I'm the opposite. IRL I think it's cute, but incredibly unlikely. In fiction, I love seeing people grow up together and realize one day that they're in love with one another. I wouldn't have minded Bella and Mortimer meeting later on and I actually thought that's what I'd find when I did my EPIC MEMORY search for LOL.
Oh, I do agree with you. Like, I think he thought ridiculously highly of her. Even as a kid he seems to be like: "MY BFF BELLA IS AWESOME." But I also like that it probably took him some time to go: "Oh, she's also beautiful and perfect too."
And yes yes yes to Bella having this 'magical aura'. And Cass has it too, but it's still a bit different, because Cass is different.
