I love this picture. Love it. Goddamn it is bitchin. For serious.
It’s also my way of introducing my newest creations: Nor, Taran and Calvin!
Y’see I’ve always wanted to create a story using all of my cartoon, video game and book love. The characters have been strung together with characteristics from other characters that I really love. Nor is all Sakura/Helga/Yuffie-ish. Taran is Sasuke/Squall/Arnold-ish. And Calvin is Naruto/Derek/Sora-ish.
Nor (the girl) is the smartest kid in her class (much to Taran’s chagrin). She’s very socially awkward. She has a huge crush on Taran, because of something that happened when they were four years old (not sure what yet). She really does love him though. She hates Calvin, because when they were six, he took her stuffed unicorn and kicked it down a hill. She doesn’t have any close friends and most of her classmates find her to be an annoying teacher’s pet. She is the worst fighter of the three of them. She tries to keep her crush on Taran a secret, but Calvin has already figured it out. She becomes the team's Sealer and fights with a Mirror.
Taran (the dark-haired one) is the strong, silent type. He hates associating with his peers, but has a few female admirers. He doesn’t really like Nor, because he finds her weak and annoying. Also, he’s jealous that she’s the smartest kid in the class. He’s the youngest boy out of five in his family so he feels like he has a lot to live up to. His brother’s were all the best in their classes in both tests and physical skill. Taran doesn’t like Calvin either, because he thinks he’s obnoxious and stupid. But when he gets stuck on a team with both Nor and Calvin, he slowly begins to become more social and open to others. He is the team’s Tamer and fights with a Sword.
Calvin (the blond and it’s “Cal” for short) is the asshole with a heart of gold. He goes out of his way to make everyone’s lives miserable. He is disgusting and rude and seems to exist to make Taran and Nor’s lives hell. At the beginning he detests the both of them, finding them to be far too serious and lame for his liking. As time progresses his cruel streak fades a bit and he warms up to his teammates. He has a heart of gold because his sense of justice is remarkable for someone his age. He knows right from wrong and has a do-gooder view of life even when he hates to admit it. He likes to make trouble, but would be very upset if he ever actually hurt anyone or made anyone cry. He lives with his older brother, Tyce. He is the team’s Seeker and fights with the Gem (his hands!).
a/n: More art updates. I have stories too, but I guess they’ll have to come some other time. I’m also gonna be splitting up some of these art entries, because I don’t want to cause any overloads. Each of these pictures is from my currently unnamed universe featuring my ULTIMATE OT3 - NorCalTar!
