Ugh. I'm so bored. My sleep schedule is way fucked from working 3rd shift for the past three weeks (and I switch to first starting Sunday...Yeesh!) so I sleep all day and am up all night. AND IT'S SO BORING. Everyone is asleep in my house! People on the internet don't update as much

Yes! I think I'm cool with the witches ancestry as long as she sort of just... doesn't have any real knowledge of it. And like... I don't see her having any power aside from being inexplicably magnetic.
I like the idea of the powers just bursting forth at some point. But even then I still like the idea of her sort of forgetting about it. Or letting it go. And, I think she'd grow to resent whatever magnetic effect she has, because it's like... does anyone really like Bella for Bella?
Definitely going to be drawing stuff for the Bella story. That is... whenever I start writing it. I basically want to write/illustrate "Where's Bella?" from The Sims 3. I've decided it's going to be about a boy losing his dog and each page will somehow relate to another version of where Bella could have gone.
The last section is actually going to be from the perspective of Bella and Mortimer as kids. They decided to do a hide-n-seek version of "Where's Bella?", but Bella hides too well/goes missing and it's hours later and Mortimer and Bella's families have been searching all over/calling the police/fretting and Bella just walks up the driveway - totally unscathed.
And there's hugging and reuniting, but Mortimer sort of hangs back and then later that night they're curled up on the living room floor and Mortimer asks: "Where did you go, Bella?"
And Bella doesn't answer.
(Can you tell I'm excited to have this thing be finished? Because I am. I just am intimidated by the amount of time it's going to take.)
