Journal - "Pokemon Updates."
So I've got 6 badges and just finished the whole Lake of Rage thing+Rocket hideout funtimes with Lance (who is CRAZY and totally okay with blasting random human beings with hyperbeam attacks WHAT?!). I'm sort of dicking around for a bit before I try to take on the Mahogany Gym and advance the plot and all that good stuff.
MY TEAM THUS FAR:
Toffer (feraligatr|♂) - Level 31
♥♥♥ My starter! He's got such a random personality. One minute he loves me and the next he's making angry faces at me.
Meeri (ampharos|♀) - Level 31
♥♥♥ Love her! My only lady poke thus far. I usually try to balance genders better, but I totally failed this time around.
Puddle (pidgeotto|♂) - Level 30
♥♥♥ I love the Pidgey line and Puddle is totally wonderful. I just wish his Attack was a little better.
Dexter (nidoking|♂) - Level 32
♥♥♥ He is actually one of my best Pokemon despite the fact that the actual attacks that I've given him kind of suck. But he can hit really hard.
Rocky (onix|♂) - Level 30
♥♥♥ Traded early on. He gets ignored a lot, but the boosted EXP helps keep him on par with the rest of the team.
Anyway, right now I'm kind of screwing around and randomly chasing after Entei/Raikou despite the big level difference between my pokes and them. HOWEVER THEY ARE BITCHES. Both of them are down to pretty much 1 HP+paralysis and they just won't STAY IN THE POKEBALLS D:
I even trained a Ghastly up to level 8 for Mean Look so that sort of helped, but once one of them takes out Ghastly the Mean Look fades. So it's only sort of helping. Also, they can still Roar me away. D:<
So it's not really going so great and I'm sick of trying. JUST STAY IN THE BALL AND LOVE ME. ;___;
Also as far as my team goes - I'm probably gonna catch Ho-Oh so I guess I should replace Puddle, but at the same time Puddle's been with me from the wee beginning so IDK. I also am sort of on edge about whether or not to evolve Onix into Steelix. I feel like I'm definitely at a disadvantage with two half-ground pokemon on my team (Nidoking+Onix) so I feel like I should, but I'm also only sort of happy with Rocky because he's a in-game traded pokemon and I tend to look down on them? Also, his Attack sucks.
So maybe I'll switch out Rocky entirely and bring in someone new later? Or not. WHO KNOWS.
I also am still mulling over the possible fire pokemon. There's Ho-Oh, Entei if I actually manage to catch him and I just got a Female Growlithe named Leeli that I might go with. I still REALLY want a Houndour though, but am not looking forward to figuring out the Safari Zone.
Anyway, I'm done rambling. I guess I'll play it all by ear from here on out. XD
