I LOVE COMMUNITY. Also, I agree with you on the Annie/Troy, Annie/Jeff, Annie/Abed front. There have been a few Annie/Troy/Abed fics, and myyyy goodness but those are awesome.
I really like the interpretive dance episode, the christmas episode, and the debate episode -- the last probably mostly for the awkwardness of the Jeff/Annie <3
WAAAAAIT Annie/Troy/Abed exists? LIKE OUTSIDE OF MY HEAD? CHRIST I LOVE THE INTERNET. Because I have been having secret shippy thoughts about such a glorious union of hotties!
But yeah, I can ship just about anything in this show. I mean Britta/Troy is pretty hot and Troy/Abed is practically canon a-and OH MAN this show could do just about anything with the characters romantically and I'd be all about it.
I think my favorite might be the Day of the Dead episode. Buuuut I also love the crap out of the debate ep for the aforementioned Jeff/Annie and uhhh... every other episode. IDK. I hate choosing.

Troy/Abed IS canon. I mean, you can read it as a bromance and not so much slash, but the way those two are just joined at the hip in perfect dysfunctionality makes me grin.
I love all the episodes and all the ships too. I even agree with you about Pierce! (although, yes, I think its because he's Chevy Chase). I've made my family and like three separate friends watch all of them with me, just so they can be as hooked as I am!
YES! I shall go through all those TODAY. And I am also picky about fic so I think I'll be in good hands with your recs. And yes, I also find stupidly small fandoms. Well... sort of. Medium-sized fandoms might be a better fit.

Do people watch Community and not ship Troy/Abed? (Also, Abed waited for Annie through the whole psych experiment. I would not be averse to Annie/Abed. I used to really ship Annie/Troy, but less so as the series has gone on. Which is kind of sad.)

Oh I do ship Troy/Abed, but I like them in a bromancey way more, because I am just generally more drawn to het pairings than slash. But I do think their interactions are absolutely wonderful and should NEVER EVER STOP.

I don't have a favorite character, I think. I love them all! Abed is amazing. Ever since the first episode where Jeff just said "You have Asperger's!", I'm 100% that he is. I've got Asperger's, and so do my dad and two brothers, and I did a project on Autism last year, so even though I'm not an expert or AT ALL qualified to diagnose it, I can totally identify it in my favorite shows and ABED HAS ASPERGER'S! AND I LOVE HIM. I LOVE THEM ALL.

Britta/Jeff bores me, but I don't hate them. I don't hate anything on this show and I watch it more for the show itself than the ships. The writing is so sharp.

I am down with both Jeff/Annie and Troy/Abed, but I actually do like Britta/Jeff and Annie/Troy and Abed/Annie and Abed/Jeff and EVERYONE/EVERYONE.
And I agree! The best part about the show is... the show! And it's REALLY rare that I feel fandomy about a show wherein I don't have an OTP, but I feel FANDOMY about Community. Like, I want to go and read fic and draw dumb stuff and talk about episodes and coo over the characters and the LOOOOOOVE.

And Troy as Annie's backpack really was adorable, but yeah, you pretty much summed up why I'm sort of ship/no, i don't ship! with them.
Also, I am fairly sure Annie/Jeff is a fairly popular pairing in what fic-writing fandom the show has.
