Last time we saw the Nostromos, Laurel and Wanetta popped out two adorable little kidlets, Stella and Juno. Needing a boy child for the challenge, Laurel got pregnant once again. They also adopted the cute-but-annoying Pochi, who spent his days peeing everywhere and destroying everything. And... I'd say that's it!
Oh, before we go on! I've decided I'm going to play the .5 generations with double heirs, so I'm picking one heir to do the gen 2 challenge, and another to do the 2.5 challenge. And because I have to have at least one boy and one girl, I'm picking one boy and one girl as heirs.
And now that that uninteresting little nugget of information is out of the way, on with the Nostromos!
We begin this visit to Casa de Nostromo with a picture of baby Juno being cute.
And then one of Juno being her usual self.
Now a child, Stella gets her own big girl room.

Stella joins in on this family's obsession with sand castles. I had no idea sims were that obsessed with beach activities until I played this beach lot.

BABY TIME!
Wanetta could not in any way care less about this whole event.
And it's a boy!!! Leonardo Nostromo, named after a teenage mutant ninja turtle a space station module. Leo has Wanetta's skintone, Laurel's eyes, and - of course - black hair.
If Wanetta was a real person, she'd look like leatherface with the amount of time she spends grilling herself under the sun.
See? I told you they were all obsessed with the beach.
They're such a cute family, I can't help myself.
Well, crap.
Annd our two ladies get working on paying those bills! No treasure chests were dug up, just as an FYI.

Luckily for everyone, Layrel's short-circuit wasn't permanent, and she gets to help out with Leo's birthday!

Leo officially becomes a Nostromo baby with his first night of banshee wailing.

While his sisters sleep, Leo helps himself to some of their toys. This is so what my little sister did when we were kids.

Meet Astrid Nostromo! Astrid shares the name with a Swedish satellite that studied space physics. Muy impressivo. She has - like Stella - all of Laurel's genetics.
As you can see, Laurel and Wanetta have very different feelings on Astrid's birth.
Juno does this approximately 300 times a day.
Which is exactly the same amount of times Stella does this.
Alien NPCs for the win! Also, we hire a maid because this family is full of slobs. Including Pochi the amazing amnesic dog who gets potty trained and then forgets all about it.
Leonardo Nostromo, like many famous people, has an intelligence that's inversely proportional to his beauty. And he's very pretty.

Laurel: Aannnd not a single fuck was given that day.
And then we have birthdays!

And post-makeover Leo, who is still cuteness incarnate.
The nursery turns into a big kid room which Astrid will share as soon as she stops crying at night.
And like many teenagers before her, Stella picks bitchfacing as her newest hobby.

Stella was whining about not having any cool gadgets, so she goes downtown to get herself a video game.
She runs into the always beautiful Sugar by bondchick_nett...
...and ignores (WHY) the awesome Vector, by bbyclawz
Back home, Stella helps Astrid with her birthday, and the lovely Chirp by kathsy invites herself in to share in on the joy.

Oh sweet jaysus, this child. I'll admit it right here, right now: she's my favourite.
I'm not proud of my lack of impartiality.

And baby Astrid goes through her banshee rite of passage!

Sensing Astrid is stealing the heir spot from her, Stella stops bitchfacing for a second to be cute with Pochi instead. It worked a bit, I gotta say.
And being the only boy eliminates competition, so Leo blissfully plays with a friend, not worrying about impressing me.

Stella is still a big video game aficionado, and apparently Leonardo takes after her.
