i’m understanding the truth in joel’s line theory more and more. it goes like this.. throughout your life you are your own line on your own path, at different times in your life your line intersects with others' lines. inevitably the lines eventually veer back off onto their own paths and move on.
it’s amazing how much can change in two days. it makes me sad to think about true friends, you know the ones that are supposedly there for you when you need them. to really think about how many of those friends you have, to wonder who you'll still be talking to in twenty years. it's interesting. i've also found that just when you think you've found that comfort in your own life things always seem to go wrong. but there will always be people along the way to remind you that you are a good person.
