omg where has i been?
Sorry I haven't been around much. Been sorta busy. Friend of mine was up here for a month sort of testing the waters and has apparently decided to move up here full time sometime before Brawl comes out, so that should be interesting. Rockband has of course devoured my time. I took launch day off to go get it. Sadly my Gibson has a mushy strum bar so I need to RMA it, which I will do... someday. My dad got me a mic stand for my birthday (along with a camera; thanks Dad) so I can do vocals and guitar at the same time now. It swings out too so I think I can configure out to do drum/vocals once I'm a bit more solid on drums... also for my birthday there was amazing strawberry cheesecake and delicious king salmon. And Brenan got me a Saginaw Spirit jersey! It was a really good birthday. And now I am twenty-five and old. Bother. I have to work Saturday nights from 8 PM-midnight for the next month or so which is kind of a bummer. I hope Julie gets well and comes back soon. I am really starting to hate my job. The hypocrisy is making me insane. I just do what I can and leave on time. I can't take any more than that.
Also I decided I want to start learning things so I got a refresher on piano basics so I can play my keyboard, and a book on Welsh, which I studied when I was in junior high a little and sort of got away from. I couldn't find my old book so I bought a new one.
And also I found a copy of this CD which is amazing. I wonder if these guys ever play this area because I would so love to go to that show. I need to find a concert to go. My soul is starving for music, big loud music that makes my ears ring and kills off my hearing, and a crowd packed so tightly that I cannot move.
