(no subject)
Well it's been ages since I actually bothered to post anything...Let see update on life. Schools done with, and I had my first semester in quite a while where I didn't fail anything. I think if I hadn't been deathly ill most of the semester I would have done even better. I was in Montana for a few weeks, although not always in Missoula. Now I'm in DC spending a few days with my parents before I head of to NY for the rest of the summer.
Tosha came with me here to DC, met my parents, stayed for a week, and just left a few days ago. It went better than I had expected. My parents had to handle meeting the first serious significant other and the first female significant other I've ever decided to bring home, and they did great. Tosha and my father would sit on the couch and watch wrestling or Ninja Warrior and be content staying out of the way of my mother and I. Tosha and my mother got along fairly well, about as well as you can get along when one person doesn't talk. (Those of you who have met Tosha know she doesn't talk much even when she knows you, and she talks even less when she doesn't.) But she won my mother over by being her usualy sweet, polite self. She even managed to beat my mother at her own game by offering to carry something my mother planned on buying and then sneaking off to buy it for her. My mother was of course embarrassed, but she couldn't say much because she's been known to do the exact same thing. All in all it was a good week, I think Tosha likes my parents and I think my parents like her, which is always useful when in a fairly long term relationship.
I'm off to NY sunday, and I'm both excited and nervous, and slightly afraid I've underpacked, but I guess I'll see when I get there. other than that life has been pretty quiet not much going on, which is of course why I haven't been posting.
