i just received this email from the boys of bad jamie, this grungy gay boy band who some of you probably saw at the middle east when MK had their emergenza show there.
they need some serious help for thier emergenza show on may 19th...apparently there are three homophobic hardcore bands playing that night who are trying to team up against them so they lose. they've requested my help and need an army of queers for the show. who's down??!?!?!?!?!!

how's it hanging?
we wanted to remind you personally about our show at the paradise on may 19 and we'd like to take you up on the offer of bringing out the homo brigade. we REALLY need the help to move forward. all though we have a strong chance, there are 3 hardcore bands that night who are "teaming up" to make us lose. hate brings people together, ya know. we hate hardcore, and they hate faggots. works out well.
soooo, we have a good number of tickets left to sell. they're $12 a piece. we will of course comp you +1 if you can get rid of a handful for us.
things are going really well with the band. we just added a bass player and we're so fucking excited for this show!! we're playing CBGB's Homocorps event in June and The Pill at Great Scott in July. Hopefully The Avalon if things go well. we're also in the studio starting next week, recording a 5 songs rock EP and mixing a collection of past recordings and unreleased stuff from electro, to acoustic, to punk, to blues. we're exhausted!!! :)
anyway, please let me know if you think you can sell some tickets. we don't have a party planned unfortunately in the area, but maybe we'll call everyone out to a bar afterwards.
