What to do, what to do....
So I'm sitting here at my current temp job, goofing off on the internet as always, when my cell phone rings. It's the rep from Manpower asking me about some job he thinks would be a good fit for me. Some kind of Customer Service Rep thingy.... The title does not sound so appealing, to say the least. Apparently it is mostly answering emails. I guess I would have more stuff to do than here. It also pays better - $13.00 and hour - but for the first who-knows-how-long it will only be 20-25 hours a week. Hmmmm... more time off.... but less money, until they hire me permanently or add hours or junk. Really, the description he gave me of the company and what they do was pretty vague. Also, it's a longer commute, considering my commute now is pretty non-existant.
Also, I feel pretty bad leaving the people at my current temp job in the lurch. They are really nice. But this was never meant to last very long.
But... customer service rep. I guess it sounds just about as good as the receptionist position I am in now. Neither of which are things I really want to do. Bah, I refuse to believe this is what you are good for, degree in literature! Darn you society and your requirement for money to live. And your stupid disregard for literature and things that teach humanity about itself.
I have until later today or tomorrow to decide. Spluh.
