A very crafty weekend
Spent Saturday installing a new car stereo in my car (early Christmas present), which of course required the removal of the factory-installed stereo, and wiring the new-stereo wiring adapter to the dual amp-bypass wiring adapter (lots and lots of wire crimps).
When I was done, it all worked, including being able to control my wife's and son's iPod (not my 2nd-gen shuffle).
Sunday was mostly occupied with building an ironing board topper for my wife. Made of 3/4" MDF, it is 5 feet long and 2 feet wide and weighs a ton... so much in fact that once we had effectively upholstered it and put it on the ironing board, it was so wobbly that it couldn't be used :-P It now sits on a 5-foot folding table, now designated "the ironing table".
