On spring cleaning. [nice shot!]

I understand that in order for things to get better, sometimes they have to get much, much worse. That does not, however, stop it from bothering me that, in order to clean my room and reorganize it properly, the room must vomit its contents into heaps all over the floor and pretty much any acceptable flat surface.

I love to clean. I love to organize.

But sometimes the process gets to me.

Edit to include things found at random of which I was unaware [or forgetful]:

A blue highlighter
Two or three sharpies
A purple giftbag
Three hands-free cell phone things, not including the devil's bluetooth. I don't want it, but he's not getting it back.
At least a dozen small post-it-noteythings or small notepads
Yet another journal/notebook
A missing coaster
An almost empty bottle of ibuprofen
A typed manuscript of a friend's mom's story [I'll need to be asking how her work is getting on]
An article sent to me by Grandma Jo on JD Salinger [I only own Catcher in the Rye and need to read it already]
Probably the fifth or seventh deck of cards I've found in my stuff in the past several days--no joke
A single light-up knitting needle
A random metal rod [approximately the same length as the aforementioned needle]
A short length [probably about eighteen inches or so] of a heavy-duty wire bundle [Dad gave it to me to keep in my car for zombies, no joke]
A third cell-phone charger
Three 2gig flashdrives

This wasn't actually found while cleaning, but rather immediately after my shower. I discovered that I have a rather lovely bruise just above my kneecap, though I cannot recall how or when I may have incurred such a thing. It must be a day or so old, because it isn't that spectacular purple color, but is already fading to the dimly purply-brown, tinged with that funky yellow

stuff, cleaning, random
