Wow. I've read Coraline in one sit-through last night. When I started the book it wasn't my plan at all to stay up another hour to finish it! After all, I just wasn't tired enough to go to sleep, and didn't want to listen to music. The book just seemed rather handy and that's why I took it with me to bed. It was splendidly full of thrill and magic and adventure, and very well written. I recommend it to everyone, not only to Neil Gaiman fans!

Though I really liked The Graveyard Book, I think Coraline is better. It has more of a closure feeling to it at the end, where TGB seemed to float around a bit, unaware of and maybe even uninterested in where to go, on the last pages.

And I feel horrible, but I totally ship the cat and Coraline in a strange way.

EDIT: I just watched the trailer for the Coraline movie. I'm already sorely disappointed. It looks nothing like the book, or at least how it played out in my imagination. :|

P.S.: Totally abusing my only Gaiman-related icon. 8|
