mmmm... strawberry heaven! ^_^
just returned from baguio last night. i went with my mom and karen to my aunt's house in baguio early saturday morning, like around 4am. sooo sleepy! -_-zzzz but hey, i got to take a pic of the sunrise..it's blurry though.. what do you expect, when you're in a moving car? ^_^;
anyway we stayed in the SyCip compound, where my aunt built around 5 cottages. three of them are being rented out by some foreigners. when i stepped inside.. WOW! it took my breath away! it looked so.. country-ish! ^_^ overwhelmed by colors and flowers!! ^____^ nice..
we went around mines view and wright park and session road.. i hadn't visited those parts of baguio since.. grade 7 i think (not counting grade 10 rugby)! and there were so many clothes! unfortunately, most of them didn't fit me. =( *sigh* of course.. and it rained the afternoon we arrived, just for a short while. after that the sun was pretty much shining. but the night was COLD!! >_< man, i can only imagine how cold it'll be if i go to vancouver in october!!
and i got my period that night.. no wonder i was feeling so tired. we only stayed for a night, and my aunt arrived the day we were gonna leave. she treated us to a buffet lunch in the country club (yum!) and brought us shopping in obscure places on session road. she LOVES company, and she was talking almost non-stop about the best places to eat and shop; she wanted us to stay until wednesday because she'd be all alone, but my mom declined. but i have to say, 2 days and 1 night was pretty short for a vacation. ^_^;
yummm... strawberries everywhere!! in baskets, on cakes, in drinks, *siiiigh* and REALLY cheap! 80-100 pesos for a kilo! and what would be a trip to baguio without MAIS? ^_^ mm, a very nice place, baguio is. (ack! the yoda syndrome!)
