wish i had a jap-eng dictionary in my head
i wonder if anyone knows where i can find a complete translation of the suikogaiden vol. 1... all i'm doing now is looking at the pretty pictures and listening to the lovely music, and i don't understand a word of the kanji flashing in front of me on the screen. i can only guess what the dialogue means from gathering context clues by using my less-than-beginner's-level knowledge of japanese.
but anyway, thanks to BJ for lending me his PS. he's so cool, he even offered to lend me all the games he had! ^_^ now karen and i are playing all the PS1 games that we miss playing (coz our PS is busted). hehe, she's playing bust a move 2 as i write this.
brian lent me his L'Arc~en~Ciel Ark and Ray albums, plus First Love by Utada Hikaru. yay! (=^_^=)
karen and i are chowing down on sugar-free belgian pralines. ^_^ my mom and dad arrived from belgium yesterday, and they had a suitcase and a half full of different kinds of chocolates and cheese! if you could only see my fridge, it's fully stocked with chocolates to last me till next christmas: belgian pralines, belgian truffles, french truffles, dutch truffles... *drool* but being me, i get tired of chocolates easily, so i can't eat too much in one sitting (but that's a good thing!). i can't wait till my mom's pictures are developed! my dad and a couple of other doctors went to belgium for a convention, but they made takas one day and decided to take the train to paris. so they went to the louvre but it was so big that they didn't get to see everything in it, hehe. they also ate a lot when they were there (hey, gotta stay warm in 2 degrees Celsius!) and when they got back their midsections were a lot rounder! ^_^ now how am i gonna lose weight with all the food that they brought back?!?!? hehe, ah well. ^_^
