Technology Fail.
HELLO IRONY, I've missed you. Not.
My PC is back, working fine except for the speakers. WHY JENNIFER?! With my old configuration they were good to go with just plugging them in without having to install any drivers and stuff, but now I'm at a loss.
And then Karen's laptop HD died. Again. And she doesn't want to tell mom because of the lecture she'll get about how expensive it was when we fixed it recently etc etc.
And Yoko died. My Creative Zen just hung last night. D: I was recording a bit of the Peter Cetera concert (which was really good btw) and then.. it hung. DDD: I waited for the battery to die out before plugging it in and trying to turn it on again, but to no avail. Manually resetting it didn't work either. DDDD: Thank goodness it's still under warranty, so I'm gonna have it checked today.
Now I can't watch videos or listen to music on my PC. Boo. I was looking forward to the Nagase MTV Unplugged session. ;o;
But that's okay. Because INOCCHI WILL BE ON SHOUNEN CLUB PREMIUM TONIGHT!♥ Plus Hina's "If or..." Stage Report and The SHIGOTONIN special performance. Thank you, Sky Cable, for keeping NHK World Premium on your roster. :3 And subs for Nagano & Sakamoto's SCPs are out!♥ Just because I can't watch it yet doesn't mean I won't dl it. x3
So. When Karen mentioned last night that she was interested in taking Japanese lessons as well, that gave me the extra push I needed to work towards my own goal. I originally wanted to take a study tour for 3 months this year (which is insanely out of my budget ;o;), but then I can start learning basics (or re-learning, rather, since I took basics back in 2nd year college) here first. Then I can save up for the intermediate level study tour for sometime early next year, and hopefully by then I won't be struggling so much with the language and be able to enjoy my 3 months there. :3
And I'm going to take a pottery class. [/random] XD
