scorching heat, calming blue
No, it's not the title of Ang Lee's new movie.. *lol* Signs of summer are showing here now. It's been deathly hot for the past two days--i miss the rain! =( At least it's still pretty windy, so the heat is tolerable.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!! Today is a saturday.. I have a Chem exam in an hour and 15 minutes. I'm so glad I took up chemistry HL in brent! I'm not having as hard a time as I thought I'd be having. ^_^ After my exam my mom's gonna treat me to a foot scrub at this place near Kitaro Araneta--Yep, a new branch! ^_^ The next one will be at West Avenue, and I think there will be one somewhere in Alabang, if we find a nice, cheap place. ^_^
Did I tell you about my research paper? It's sooo annoying! We were supposed to hand in our drafts on Thursday, and I was sitting on my bottom Tuesday night playing Chrono Cross till 10pm, not having started on my draft (that's so me..). I don't think I could have done it alone in that short a time span (10-15 pages in a day), so I went over Mikken's house on Wednesday. I still had to make him listen to some music (my paper is on the effects of anime music on its listeners) so I got around to actually writing my paper at 4:30pm. I was forced to eat waffles and spam at 3pm in politeness to his mom.. (noo!! carbohydrates!!!). SO stressful, that day. We ate dinner at Kitaro annapolis (of course) and while the clock was ticking towards 11pm I kept thinking about my doom. *lol* I went home and stayed up till 4am typing, hoping to stay awake the whole night, but I fell asleep and missed my first class (which was at 7am) and I had a quiz in that class too.. -_- By the time I went to school at 10am (for my chem lab), i had a lovely 12-page paper to hand in to my commII teacher. ^_^ And guess what? He only glanced over it for about 15 seconds and said, "You need more endnotes." AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *silent scream* USELESS!!! I could have plagiarized the whole thing for now, just to have something to hand in! grrrr.... BUT at least I'm kinda done with it already. And, I received two Hershey's Kisses ^_^
You know what? I don't watch X-Files anymore.. hmm, an X-File in itself. j/k
Hey, I lost 7 pounds! ^_^ And on a whim I applied for a summer job in Chili's Greenhills. And I'm gonna learn how to drive this summer. And I'm gonna take sculpting classes with my mom this summer. And I'm... gonna be busy. hoo boy.
Nice weather, though. ^_^
