Back to semi-hiatus! XD
Tonight was awesome. I went to Eddie's wedding and had a little Brent reunion (it felt like prom all over again when we were taking photos of the guys XD). Caroline's "forkable boobs" and Mike's heat-sensitive shirt design and WE'RE ALL 30 (of course we are) and the supposedly famous Taiwanese wedding singer who looked like Elvis and Caroline still insists that Diego's gay. OH THE CRACK. I must remember to get the pics from Chris. XD Oh, and each table napkin had a cute pic of Eddie & Boeun in them, AND THEY'RE SO CUTE IT'S LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A KOREAN MOVIE POSTER. XDDD I'll post them once I get to scan them. ^^
I left early to catch the last half of our youth concert "Set Free". Currently uploading pics and videos in my Multiply. :D Since I missed most of the recording sessions and practices because of work/sickness, I wasn't able to participate this time around. But last night I watched their tech run just in case I wasn't able to go tonight, and it was my first time to hear some of their original songs.. AND I FELT LIKE A PROUD MOMMY. *tear* Dags coming back from Canada was really an answered prayer, and SO TIMELY, since he basically took over everything that I had no time to do. AND THE NEW SONGS WERE ARRANGED SO WELL. I LOVED ALL OF IT. We gave out demo cds after the concert (only 3 of the 9 songs), and if the response is good, we'll get the go signal (a.k.a. budget XD) for the album for next year! :DDD And praise God talaga sa 139 PRC! :DDD Ang dami nun, more than last year.♥ Ahh God is truly good. I wish I could have seen the first part with the skits & videos. I saw a bit in their tech run, but hindi pa kumpleto ung mga performers. I know K.Ponching was the one at the camera near the sound tech area, and I think Micah recorded the whole thing too. I only took a few videos of the songs though.
Afterwards we all headed to McDo and had a major laugh trip at Sean singing Jenny. XD Flight of the Conchords rock. rocks. whatever. Pang-asar talaga ung lyrics. XDDD
And I've had KAT-TUN's Lovin' You on constant repeat since I saw it on my flist.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (semi)ACOUSTIC = LOVE. It's not too poppy and nyan-y, and free of any kids' voices. Yay for simplicity and gorgeous harmonies.♥♥♥ Seriously, this song has made my good mood so much better (I've been reduced to a puddle of mush, thankyouverymuch)
therefore I can't sleep but I'm supposed to sleep so I can wake up tomorrow later to help Karen with her homework, lol. Aristotle's political theories. or whatever. Her book gave me a headache with its size 8pt print. D: Or maybe it's just because I don't like philosophy. XD
OH HYDE AND KEN WILL BE IN CARTOON KAT-TUN. O_O That was one of the weirdest news bits I came across a while ago (but definitely looking forward to it XD). But the most cracktastic Hyde & Ken appearances were Matthew's Best Hits and the Pusuma drawing episode with Kusanagi. XDDDDD
Anyway, momotee posted the second trans of the Boukyaku Monologue DVD. :D I'm planning to sub the clip once the last part is out (if I get permission, that is XD). Ryutarou the mopper! XD It's nice how they visit their old haunts and still acknowledge their humble beginnings. Yes, I think Pura keeps me grounded in Jrock. XDDD I can't believe I still have to wait a month for the Zero DVD.
And I don't know what to do about a problem at work. D: I mean, I can choose either the costly and quick solution, or the slow but cost-effective one. pros and cons, ugh. decisions, decisions..
AND my desktop monitor won't work. DDDD: NOOOOOES. Uruha is conking out on me piece by piece-- first the LAN card, and now the monitor. ;o; Not really related, but I want to buy a stylus for my work PC. And I heard they're going to budget a Mac for me next year. :D (or they might have just been giving me false hope XD) But I want a stylus and CS3. Because all the cool kids have it. XDDDD
