I was inspired by the Gama tour pamphlet scanned by rawkstarr23, particularly the pics with the pairings, and came up with a picfic -- sort of like vignettes based on the pictures, but they're written on the pics

Yay thanks for reading! ^_^ I don't see picfics with text in them very often; they usually have the text below the pic. And if you google "picfic", the first thing you get is one of My Little Pony. ^^'
♥ Thanks for your comments! *huggles* Who knows, maybe this'll start a trend? XD
I think a more accurate name is picpoems, but that doesn't have a ring to it, does it? :)
I really like In the Attic (it has a nice rhythm ♥) and Torn. Its brevity gives it rawness--perfect for the emotion of being torn. Sorry for being redundant XD
*huggles* Thanks for your comments!♥ Torn was one of my favorite ones to do. I actually had more text on it, but it looked too cluttered because there wasn't enough space to write. ^^'
And 'picpoems' does seem more accurate, hehe. I just didn't know what to call it, since it's the first time I've done something like that. XD
Wow, I love these, you write so well. I'm not one to be very...intelligent with commenting (obviously XD;), but I like these. My favorite's Tethered, although I can't reallly put in words as to why right now. :) Again, they're all very nicely written.
On a different note, when I read "fragile doll" in Dislay, I looked back at Ruki and...he really does look like a doll in that picture. o_o; Also, what pretty font did you use? 8D
Oh c'mon, who wouldn't love angsty drama?! :D Thanks for poking me in order to get me read this *smooches*
The fact I'm shaking a little and swallowing tears now can be said to be because of the gig and the sleep I was deprived of, or then you and your lovely piccu fics can take full credit^_^
Oh wow, where to start, where to start.. Mmm. First of all, I was one of those who didn't know this kind of fantastic thing even existed! :D I like the possibilities picfic offers -it makes one narrow down the word count, and due to that the texts become more intense and they give space for the reader to think (I don't like stuff that's been chewed for me). You say this is your first attempt at picficcing? Then, you did incredibly well! *HUGS*
Aww, my favourite would be the last one ("Tethered", am I reading correctly?^^). Somehow it sums up what I am going through in my life currently. I love the part in the upper right corner, the way it fits to Kai's angsty and weak pose (gawd, his hands are so beautifully in the pic *hearts*).. can't keep

Whee, a long comment! *dances* Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I love your observations, some of which I didn't intend to portray, but it works anyway!♥ (That's what I love about art/literature, it's open to interpretation) I don't even know if this qualifies as a real genre of literature XD , but 'picfic' seems to fit. It's sort of how headers have all sorts of text (usually lyrics), except the text is longer (and original!) lol.
Ahh down to the story. XD The title is "Full Circle", so it helps to think of the pics as one scene flowing to the next. Starting off with Ruki sitting like a doll, feeling vulnerable by the exposure and fame and almost lifeless (well, being tired generally robs you of your strength, doesn't it?). In contrast, Uruha is used to being on display and gawked at (but I'm just assuming), so we see the effect of fame on two people--breaking one down and making the other one stronger. There's a slight implication of something more between the two of them, with Uruha claiming Ruki as "his" (not just "the")
( ... )
And come to think of it, if you look at Torn on its own, the text could be the other way around, with Aoi being torn between Reita and someone else (is AoixUru your OTP? XD), but Reita already knows about it because he's seen it and is hiding in the shadows.
Either way, I think it's really sad! T_T And the disconnected text adds hesitation to whoever is speaking the words.
*nods* I suspected there was something more to it than I was able to read. First of all, the title is a liiiiittle too abstract to be just a randomly chosen pair of words. Then, when I realised you didn't focus on any certain pairing it made me tilt my head and try to find the deeper level -and failed miserably, I see ^^ But, after reading your depiction, the story opened up for me and.. It's so obvious I feel pretty dumb *lol* That's what I really love about you -something simple isn't enough for you. Your soul is very poetic^__^
*does a dorky dance* What you said about the difference between "his" and "the" in the first picture made me smile~ "His" drew my eyes immediatelly, since I'm such a romantic, and due to that I didn't even question the tone of their relationship -for me, it was self-evident that they were more than friends. I like it how you've really thought this through, and paid so much attention to even the smallest details :)
No, it's not confusing at all! *reading In the Attic again* This structure filled with "

I don't know... All I can say is WOW. Honestly, I didn't know that picfics existed. But now i'm loving each one of them! Your works//poems are really beautiful and touching. My favorite is Torn, it's short but bittersweet.
Ah thank you!!♥ X3 I'd love to make more when I have the inspiration, hehe. ^^' This was really an experimental thing.. I just sort of did it on a whim. XD But I'm glad you like it! *huggles*
