Finally have the interent..... again. x.x
I say that a lot huh? God, I wish Sarah and I could get our own internet but yah.... it's cheaper this way. But, for what ever reason, the internet is working today. So, YAY.
How was everyone's Easter?! Mine was great, I ended up getting to sped the day with the family out at my grandmaw's. I even baked a Easter basket shapped cake. I'll have to post a picture. I was actually really proud of how it turned out. I kinda of want to transfer to the Bakery department so I am trying to teach myself how to decorate cakes. (I just want any department other than the deli) So I attempted a basket shapped cake and I think it turned out pretty cute. I used only a spatula and a spoon to shape the icing and carve the cake. I want to try and get some actual cake decorating tools and see how good I can do then.
My sister has been visiting since a few weeks before Easter I believe. It's been so AHHHmazing having them around actually. I've learned to deal with my bro-in-law. I actually -mumble- kinda like hanging with him... -mumble mumble- :X They've been over like ever single night since they got here. It's great.
Also been hanging with my sister's old friend Morgan. Ahhhhh Morgan. She is quite a character. She recently moved here from Georiga because her mom was ill and while she was visiting to help her mother out her boyfriend up there cheated on her and broke up with her. So yah, she has been kinda down and there for at my house every night too. I don't mind her to much. She seems like she has done a lot of growing up these last few years she spent in Georgia. I won't get into Morgan's whole story, but she seems like she really wants to change.
She's crushing hard on one of my friends, though I don't know why. She is loud and out going and out there, he is more the quiet shy type. I don't think he is interested though. To bad for her, because she was telling us the night before how she wanted to find a guy that would stay with her for more than one reason, and who would take her to movies and out to eat and such, Devon is that kind of boyfriend. But, I don't think he'll ever be interested. :/
Went to the river yesterday with Sarah, my sister and bro-in-law yesterday. We took SoljaBoi, and their two dogs, Ruger and Chevy, with us. They had a blast. So did we. I'm so glad we got to go, we'd been trying to go for weeks but it never seemed to work out. Plus yesterday was supposed to be Laurie and Eliot (sister and husband)'s last day out here. But HOORAY, they'll be staying another few days because Eliot is working on the neighbor's house next door.
Sarah and I had to cancel our reservations at the Myrtles plantation. That is how we were going to spend our anniversary, but we're in such a finianceal bind right now we just can't afford it. We're just gonna go out of town near where my sister lives and stay in a nice hotel there and visit them, and just chillax and enjoy being away from all the stress at home. I'm upset that we're not going to the Myrtles but I'm okay with it. I understand that we can't afford it, and I am happy just going off and spending the whole weekend with just Sarah and I. We can stay at the Myrtles next year or something.
I sure hope the internet works for more than a day or two like usual. I go nuts with no interwebz.
