So, yesterday was fun. x.x Sarcasm.

I've been having problems with my eye so I went to the ER night before last. The ER doctor seemed pretty worried and made me an eye appointment for the next day at nine-thirty am. That was yesterday.

He thinks I had an infection in my eye that scratched my Corina and that's why my eye becomes irritated and the vision is blurry. He also said though, that if this has been going on for a month or so that the other eye should be infected but it isn't, so really he isn't sure.

He set me up another appointment Monday with a different eye specialist to see what the real deal is. Hopefully it's nothing. Until then I have to put in eye drops eight or more times a day AND I am encouraged to wear an eye patch, especially at work.

Oh, yeah. x.x I look so great with an eye patch especially when I wear my glasses over it.

Anyway, the appointments aren't what made the day so FUN. On the way home from the doctor, this is a forty-five minute drive or more, we felt the car ridding funny so we pull over. The tire is coming apart and is about to blow. NOT GOOD.

So, we get out the stuff and start to try and change the tire, the tire iron we have isn't working very well at getting the lug nuts off the car. lucky for us a guy asks if we need help and when we ask for a lug wrench he gets out and changes the tire for us, and puts on the dummy tire.

He tells us that the dummy tire looks a little low and we need to go put air in it. Then my mom tries to give him money and he looked really insulted, but took it anyway. I think she may have hurt his feelings, he kept saying "I wasn't charging you".

So we start driving and head towards the nearest gas station to put some air in the tire. Only the car starts riding worse than it had been before so we didn't even make it out the parking lot we had puled over in. We get out and look, the dummy is riding on the rim. Not good.

So, my mom saw a used tire place down the road and we decide we will put the falling apart, but still usable, tire back on and go down there to buy a new tire. We try and do this and realize that the tire iron we have is a piece of crap and it split when we were trying to get tie tire off.

Somehow we have to get this torn up tire to the tire place a half a mile down the road. We decide to carry it. Sarah takes off her belt and her and I take turns carrying it on out backs all the way to the tire place. We get there and have to wait about twenty-five minutes for service.

They finally come ask us if we need help only to tell us that he doesn't have any tires to fit. SO we have to go all the way BACK down the mile and a half back to the car carrying this tire. Several of the guys laughed at us but do you think any of them asked if we needed help or a ride... NO.

We get back to the car and a guy stops and asks us if we are having car problems. No, we just love sitting in abandoned parking lots in the bad part of town with the tires off of the car. We tell him the situation and he points us in the direction of the next closest tire shop. He then chuckles "Good luck, it's a long walk to carry a tire, those things are heavy."

"REALLY!? IS IT? I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED THAT A TIRE COULD BE HEAVY! THANKS FOR YOU LIFE CHANGING INFORMATION!!!"

Didn't actually say that, just wanted to.

So we look in the car to find something to help us carry this tire in the other direction, the other tire place is a mile down the road. I suggest putting my umbrella through the tire and me and Sarah each holding an end. It worked.

The whole walk there people are honking and pointing and laughing. Yeah, real funny. Although I guess in all fairness, I might have laughed if I had seen us. :/

We saw a cop and thought he might help, so we went up to him and said "We had a blow out down the road and we are trying to find a tire shop, a guy we talked to said there was one up the road."

He looks at me and Sarah carrying the tire and says "Yeah, but it's a ways to go you might want to stop at that gas station and take a rest. It's gonna seem like even longer of a walk packing that tier." Wow. You think. Why does everyone feel the need to tell us how heavy the tire is!?

We get almost to the tire place, we can see it. It's like the light at the end of a very dark tunnel, and a man stops to help us. We load up the tire and he takes us the rest of the way. We figure he was going to leave us after this but he didn't. He stayed with us, even looked over the tires before he would let my mom buy them.

He then took us back to the car and started changing the tire for us.

BUT, you know me it couldn't be that easy right... his tire iron wouldn't fit and ours was broken. So, no way to get the tire back on the car. x.x

That man drove all the way back to the tire shop and borrowed a tool and came back and finished the tire. There really are some nice people left in this world.

So yeah, yesterday was a disaster. And yet... somehow... the three of us managed to have fun. Crazy eh?

life sucks, don't laugh at me, health problems, fun, wth, yah it sucks, shittastic, sarah, family, stupid fun, thank you for being stupid, mother
