Ugh, I've been really busy lately and have not posted in a while. Sorry, I know, I'm such a slacker. Had a lot going on last week.
My two fave people to work with at Petco are gone. They left work last Tuesday in handcuffs and will never be welcome back. They were selling large bags of dog food and fish for like ten dollars cash and then letting the customer walk out with out ever going to the register to pay for them. I would have never thought they'd do something like that. I friggin loved working with both of them. So, now I know why they were interviewing people, we now have two new workers. One is a psycho who won't last long, and the other is a guy who has never had a pet, and has no interest in ever owning a pet. Where does Gary find these people. Why would you work at a Petstore if you have no love or interest in pets.... x.x
Still playing games with the prowler, we have bought a web cam we are going to set up outside the window at night so we can try and nab them. It's really frustrating. I'm not sure how well the webcam is going to work, but we sure as hell can't afford a decent security system. I sure wish we could though. We have had to call the cops another three times since the last time I posted, so that's a total of six now I think. I really hope we see them on this camera. I'm also considering having a stake out and sitting in my car listening for the dogs to bark, then at the last minute jump out and be like, 'HA! Got you!' or something. But, if I sit out in the car all night and nothing happens I'm so going to be pissed. Why can't they just leave us be. We have a beat up half a shed and two beat up cars that don't run in our yard, we don't look like we're rich or anything, so why us? We don't really have much worth stealing, we're poor! Ugh.... x.x
Peanut got adopted Sunday, and now I have a new foster dog already. She is a Chinese Crested mix, she is naked. Her name is Fiona and she is quite bossy. The lady that runs AAA was fostering her, but she was getting to attached so she asked it I would take her, since I have experience in the naked dog area. Spazz <3 She doesn't seem happy though, she just kinda mopes around. The first day we got her she never left the kitchen, just sat there staring at the door. I think she was attached to Mrs. Jo. I've been texting Mrs. Jo and I think she is going to take Fiona back and keep her. We are meeting up Thursday to switch fosters. She has a maltese mix right now, named Scooter. I bet he is cute. We're getting quite up there in fosters, let's see there was Emma, then Chanell and Zozzy, then Pepper, Freddie, Peanut, and now Fiona. Not sure if Trouble counts, she wasn't through AAA, but she was kinda like a foster. That's eight, it makes me feel so good knowing that I saved eight dogs' lives. I miss Trouble and Emma the most.
Supposed to have class tonight but the only dog in it, a yorkie name Vivie had to drop out. She has a balddar infection and can't have treats for a while. She is gonna call me when Vivie is feeling better and re-join a class. I've made my new class dates, only one class a day now, I over whelmed myself having four classes a week. I'm going to do puppy classes on Mondays and basic classes on Tuesdays. I'm also going to start my training in the Canine Good Citizens classes. You have to be chosen to partake in those classes, so I'm pretty excited that I was chosen. Makes me feel good.
Going to the doctor tomorrow to see what the results were of those tests I took forever ago, see how my kidney disease is progressing.. Hopefully it's not progressing. Maybe it went away... it could happen. Well, wish me luck on that.
That's about all the new stuff I can think of. I'm sure I'll think of stuff I wanted to add to this after I post it. That's me. I'll try and stop being such a bad LJer. Going to go set up that web cam now.
