Welcome to the World Baby Shane
We gots a baby we gots a baby!!!!! Shane Eliot Thompson was born today at 3:43pm. He weighed seven pounds and eight ounces and nineteen inches long.
But before that. So Laurie's water broke and I had to be at work at two. I really wanted to be there for the birth. I mean, I had to miss Christmas and new years so that others at work could be with their famlies. I called around today to try and get someone to come in for me and everyone made up bogus excuses why they couldn't. So I started offering money, fifty dollars. No one would take the shift. OI had to miss my nephew being born. I am so pissed. Finally Corbett came in for someone else and then that person showed up and he made me pay him fifty dollars to stay for me. For three hours. Fuckers. I am NEVER picking up a shift for any of them ever again. They can all rot in hell. I have always been there for them and took shifts so they could do what ever they wanted and they wouldn't do just this one thing for me. So I really know what kind of people I work with now.
So, I finally get here and get to the room and hold him and you know what he does?! He flips me off! Seriously. I've got a picture that I'll post later. He is soooo cute. But man, he has the longest fingers I've ever seen. I say he has grandmaw hands, but he makes the grandmaw hands look cute. And man is he noisy. He is the most talkitive newbord ever. I'd upload some pics now but I'm at the hospital on my neices computer and it's slow and I'm lazy.
I'm so verry tired. I had every intention to go to bed early last night, and we got home from the movie and were crawling into bed to do just that when the phone rang. It was my cousin Nikki, her dog was missing. So we trromped around looking for Bubbles for a few hours in the cold. Didn't find her. We're gonna get some posters made and put some adds in the paper and go looking for her agian tomorow. I looked around all the roads to see if, god forbid, she'd been run over but I didn't see her so that's good. I'm going to go into all the local vets offices and the animal shealters and see if she was brought in. Wish us luck guys, Nikki is so worried about her little dog. She is a powder puff chinese crested, Bubbles is the sister of my chinese crested Radikal. God I hope we find her.
Anyway, YEAY! I'm an aunt!... again.
Time to go home and get some sleep, night all.
