It seems I should update, though I'm not sure what on. Been doing more urban exploration-y activities as of late. Sunday was pretty prolific in that respect. I actually got some cute cups and saucers from one house-- and a big tin peacock. Flannery O'Connor would be proud. Though cynical. ;) It's going to get made over with some car paint and whatever craftsy things I have in my closet.

Made a hideous caramel cake a few days ago. It's not getting better with age... Hopefully third time's a charm, whenever I go get more condensed milk. This thing exudes fermented sugar. Smelling it could put a diabetic into a coma, I suspect. I actually like the frosting, but yeah. Toxic. And dry. Tri-layer death.

Andrew got his PS2 from layaway several days ago. I bought Mercenaries and We Love Katamari for it. I must say I don't like the slim design PS2 too much though. Compared to Jen's classique PlayStation 2, it's really sensitive and noisy, and it jerks every now and again. Like the difference between a laptop and a desktop. After 3 hours I tend to shut it off because the fan's wheezing like mad. But it works. And Katamari's fun... I was so happy when I could finally roll up that bastard sheep. :D

It finally feels like fall. Maybe it will persist for more than two weeks this time. My favorite season, though this is the first year I've noticed spiders running all over the place. Neat spiders, but still. 5-inch wolf spiders are scary.

I actually appreciate Andalusia. Not in the O'Connor mania sense, but in the scenic-naturey sense. Thoreau would approve; that's been the quintessential remark lately. The car dealership next door is something of a detriment, but eh. I wouldn't be surprised if some radical Flans assaulted it with C-4 one day.

BATMAN BEGINS COMES OUT ON TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!! I'M TYPING IN ALL-CAPS BECAUSE I'M LIKE YELLING AN' STUFF!!!!!!!! BATMAN BEGINS!!!!!!

*ahem* Yeah. Back to Joe Campbell. J.C. I'm sure Mrs. Stowers couldn't resist drawing the Jesus parallel. That'd tickle Joe to death, if he weren't dead already.
