I WANT YOUR TOES
I like your toes, so fine
I wish your toes were mine
We would play in the sand
maybe hold toe-hands
and we would be just fne.
I wish your toes were mine
so subtle- such a design
Your toes are cute
not like a brute's
I wish your toes were mine.

Wow. That poem realllly sucks. I found it on soundgirl.com. I was going to bid on a Soundgirl shirt on eBay and wanted to know what the heck Soundgirl was... and I'm a bit disappointed. But the shirt has a cute owl on it, so I haven't discounted it completely as an option. After all, this is kinda cute. But man... are there no discriminating web publishers left?

Haven't updated in a while. Hm.
* The Corpse Bride is very good; Tim Burton hasn't hit burn-out yet, so that's nice.
* I accidentally watched Steel Magnolias this morning. Andrew wasn't kidding... it's a good movie. I don't know why he gets grumbly about Fried Green Tomatoes; I mean, they have similar quirk and depression factors, and cover the same genres. But waaaaaaaah!!! Shelby dies!!
* Andrew and I have scouted the Jones building at CSH. All we need now are some gloves, and we're set. Though night vision goggles would be awesome. And a grappling hook. They have 'collapsible ninja' grappling hooks on eBay for $15, but yeah. And stupid eBay has ethics and doesn't sell lock picking kits.
* My fiction workshop will be going to Andalusia in just over a week: the home of Flannery O'Connor. Whee. And Dr. Gentry is all skips and bubbles because he's getting a key to it so he can give us a tour. The man is THE Flannery O'Connor aficionado of, well, the world, probably. Honestly, I'm more excited about us eating out at a restaurant before the tour. Brett mentioned Little Tokyo... >.>
* Looking at getting a Kodak Z740 digital camera, if I can find a basic bundle for it for under $250.
* I am much anticipating December: The Chronicles of Narnia and Memoirs of a Geisha will be hitting theaters, and of course the next HP movie will be coming out late the month before. Mwhahahahahaha! PLEEZ don't let it suck!
* I'm about 70% sure I'm going to cosplay Starfire from Teen Titans at AWA next year. 15% says Riho from Nightwalker, and the other 15% is nebulous uncertainty. Oooooh... it'd be interesting to dress as Germaine from Foamy. Or FOAMY. Man, you'd get glomped every 0.6 seconds if you did that, if for no other reason than you're a big puffy mascot squirrel.
* Garlic cheese biscuits are wonderful. You can pretend you're at Red Lobster.

Way better than that crappy poem.

I need to shower and get to work on a paper for Bauer's class. His class is the first one that's actually made me think since... since Mrs. Stower's class in high school, really. Man... I get the sense I might be learning how to think again. It's a painful process for the stagnant mind.

Ooooh... I forgot. Serenity's out in theaters. A feature-length offshoot of Firefly, a sci-fi series I was sorry to see go. Apparently it's a pretty good movie. Who knows... maybe they'll bring it back to TV. I wasn't die-hard enough about it to go around muttering 'gorram' instead of 'goddamn,' but it was still cool beans. Okay. Enough about movies. It's just been so long since a block of enticing movies has come out... the months since Batman Begins have been generally dull and dumb.

Yes. Shower. Paper. Food. That order.
