DSL is ALIVE!!! Mwhahahahahahaha!! After like an hour of screaming, clicking, restarting, unplugging, pounding, cursing, and a desperate call to customer service-- it LIVES. Do you KNOW what the problem was? They dropped the '20' in the username. Jen told Alltel to set the username (and I heard her tell the technician) to 'jennifer20.' NOT 'jennifer.' But they logged it as 'jennifer,' and since we never got the requisite welcome letter with account info on it, we had no idea. There are still occasional issues with the ethernet, but internet WORKS now! I just lurve the woman at customer service I talked to. She was so nice, and waited while I scrambled for two minutes to find our Alltel phone number... ahhhhh. I still kinda hate Alltel... but at least they had decent call waiting music: '80's music. I forget the name of the exact song they kept recycling, but it's the one that goes 'She's a maniac, maaaaa-niac, blahblahblah!' Yeah. Phew. FINALLY. :3
