I'm gonna be off shopping in about 30 minutes so I'd thought I do a little update.
We went to my parents house for thanksgiving yesterday. First time I've had thanksgiving with my family in about 6 years. Much to my surprise, it was very peaceful. All the annoying people decided to go out of town, yay for me.
We also went to "Walk the Line" last night. Not too bad of a movie, and it got me back in my Johnny Cash mood. I'm actually listening to him right now.
I read the "Theif of Always" graphic novel that Tonya bought me. I forgot how much ass that story kicks. The illustrator, while not as interesting as Clive Barker, did very well representing the story in his dark and sketchy style. The book put me back in the mood to work on my own story. I think I'm gonna stick with the graphic novel idea, but drift a little off from the manga style. Manga is a little too perfect for my poor drawing skills and unsteady hands. If I can't stick with the story this time around I'm gonna give it up for good. Same things goes for my music. I'm thinking about getting a cheap USB soundcard to hook into my laptop for recording. If I don't follow through I plan on giving up music all together, even just the simple practice on guitar.
I guess that's it. Hopefully somebody will piss me off today. I've been full of a lot of steam for some reason lately, and I need to blow a little.
