This is an easy, healthier (than takeout) recipe for sesame chicken... tried it at work, and it was pretty tasty. I want to make it at home, but spicier and more tangy:
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup water
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
vinegar, ginger, sesame oil, and garlic to taste
Make the sauce, cook some chicken in a skillet. Pour the sauce over the chicken, let thicken. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
The sauce could go a lot of different ways, and just begs for experimentation. It was a little too sweet for me, but I think adding some heat would fix that.
